[:de]Zutaten[:en]Ingredients[:]

  • 4 medjool dates pitted
  • 2 Tbsp ground tiger nuts*
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter preferable white one
  • 1 Tbsp carob powder**
  • 1/2 tsp ground vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 2 tsp rice milk optional, or other plant based milk
  • 1 Tbsp desiccated coconut optional, for decoration

[:de]Anleitung[:en]Instructions[:]

  1. Mash the dates with a fork until they have a creamy consistency (about 1 minute).

  2. Mix almonds, carob powder and the spices together in a bowl.

  3. Add the dates and almond butter and mix carefully with the fork.

If the mixture is still too dry, add 1-2 teaspoons of plant-milk and finally knead it all by hand until you're left with a smooth dough-like ball.

  4. Form 12 balls and roll them in the desiccated coconut.

  5. Keep the Bliss Balls in the fridge or just enjoy them immediately.

Packed in an airtight container, they keep in the fridge for several days. With me, however, they are always gone after just 1 day. πŸ˜…

[:de]Anmerkungen[:en]Notes[:]

*You can use ground almonds as well.

Β

** You can also use unsweetened cocoa powder here. The Bliss Balls then will turn out a bit tart and chocolatier.
