This delicious homemade granola is the perfect start to your day - it's crunchy, slightly fruity and has an irresistible coconut-vanilla flavor. It is naturally sweetened with maple syrup and contains lots of crisp and healthy nuts & seeds.
I like to eat mine with chilled oat milk and lots of fresh fruit.
Let's crunch! 🧡
Preheat your oven to 140°C|280°F (fan setting).
Mix all ingredients from oats to almonds in a large bowl.
Let the coconut oil melt on low heat in a small pot on the stove. When it's liquid, turn off the heat and stir in the maple syrup and spices. Finally, pour in the freshly squeezed orange juice.
Now add the liquid ingredients to the dry mixture in the bowl and stir well until it's thoroughly mixed.
Pour the finished mixture onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and push it on the middle rail into your oven.
Bake for 20 minutes, then turn your granola carefully. After another 15-20 minutes, the granola is finished. (It will crispen up when cooled completely.)
Let it cool completely on a grid (but not in the oven!) and then mix in your raisins (or other dried fruits of your choice). Now fill it in a nice glass and start dreaming of tomorrow's breakfast. 🧡
** If you don't like raisins, you can easily replace them with cranberries, dried cherries or mulberries. The mulberries give the granola some extra crunch even. 😉
I always choose organic produce whenever possible. It‘s not only better for my health (and yours, too), but also for our environment. 🌍💫💚
